Maine and Massachusetts residents. You have the right to know the reasons for an adverse underwriting decision. We will not use previous adverse underwriting decisions as the basis for later underwriting decisions unless we conduct an independent evaluation of the facts.

Maine residents. You also have the right to not be subject to a pretext interview with some exceptions.

Nevada residents. You have the right under Nevada law to be placed on our company Do Not Call list. You may request to be added to the list by: (1) contacting an American Nationalagent or (2) sending a written request to us. Vermont residents. We will not share your credit information with our affiliates. We will not share your information with other companies so they can market to you, other than as permitted by law, unless you authorize us to do so.

 

Protections for Children (Individual Users Under the Age of 13)

American National does not knowingly solicit information from children, nor do we knowingly market our products to children. Persons under 13 years of age may not submit or post personal information to American National without the consent of their parent or guardian. Persons under 13 years of age will not be listed in our member directory or receive direct marketing communications. No information collected from persons under 13 years of age will be used for any marketing or promotional purposes except as explicitly stated during registration.

All persons registering with American National will receive an email confirming their registration. Persons under 13 years of age must provide the email address of their parent or guardian when registering. The parent or guardian must validate the account of any person under 13 years of age in order for that person to use any interactive American National service.

 

Changes to Online Privacy Policy

American National reviews its privacy policies and practices periodically and reserves the right to amend this privacy notice at any time. We will post the updated privacy notice on this website. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy notice as applied to your use of this website, you can choose to discontinue your use of this website.
