SPRINGFIELD, MO — Mike Washburn, a Multiple Line General Agent (MLGA) with American National, was recently recognized for his 2016 sales and management achievements.
Washburn was honored with two 2016 President’s Trophy Awards on the Gold level: the Management Leadership Award for MLGAs and Personal Lines Property and Casualty Award for Managers. In addition, he was recognized for his success in life insurance sales with the 2016 President’s Trophy as the MLGA Top Life Producer of the Year on the Silver level. Washburn also received the Three-Line award for managers on the Bronze level. The Three-Line award honors success selling multiple product lines to clients – life, homeowners and auto coverage, primarily.
Washburn joined American National as an agent in 1986 and became an MLGA in 1987. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous awards, including MLGA Management Leadership Awards on the Gold and Silver levels, Top MLGA Life Producer awards on the Silver and Bronze levels, and an ANPAC Personal Lines P&C Award on the Gold and Bronze levels.
He has been recognized for his sales excellence numerous times, earning 3 Career Club, 4 Leaders Club, 9 President’s Club, 5 Chieftain Club and the Summit Club award – American National’s highest Club recognition – four times. Washburn’s excellence as an agency manager has been recognized with the Presidential Citations on the Gold (2), Silver (2) and Bronze (5) levels.
He is a member of GAMA International and National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).
